Team: Girls’ Junior Varsity Assistant Coach
My name is Brittany Rhodes and I teach Honors World History and US History at Denmark High School. I also teach AP Psychology for Forsyth Virtual Academy. After graduating from Harrison High School, I went on to Auburn University, graduating in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Social Science Education. I am currently working on master’s in Advanced Curriculum and Instruction through Georgia Southern University. I have lived in six states, visited 34, and have explored 21 countries. My husband and I live in Woodstock with our puppies, Rhett and Waldo.
I’ve played soccer since I was six years old, starting with rec and working my way up to club. I’ve played every position on the field, but prefer center mid or defense. I played for my high school team in McKinney, TX before moving to Kennesaw, GA, where I played and refereed for the Kennesaw Futbol Club. Since then, I play soccer every chance I get. I’ve coached a variety of ages, and my first high school coaching position was in 2013 at Northview High School in Dothan, AL. Upon moving to Forsyth, I coached volleyball until a soccer position became available. I am so excited to be back in the sport I love building a new program and learning from phenomenal coaches.
